I am a Filipino-American citizen living in Southern California. I am a business owner, practitioner, and designer.
It was during college when I received the calling to become a massage therapist. You can ask me more about this in person. I decided to take massage classes here and there, and one thing led to another, I finished the 500- Hour Massage Therapy Program at The School of Holistic Touch in Ontario, California.
About the 5th year of my practice, I had an epiphany to start my own business during yoga practice and founded CJoyceHeart Therapeutic Massage. The logo is inspired by the Balasana pose, also known as Child's pose.
Truthfully, of course, starting a business, I faced many challenges. Now in the tenth year of practice, 2021, It developed into a wonderful and rewarding journey personally (mentally, emotionally, physically), and professionally. The growth and transformation are life-changing.
I am looking forward to taking this service to a new level through teaching and sharing my experience and knowledge.
My hobbies include playing the viola, reading, watercolor painting, playing ball (basketball and volleyball), and going on trails for a stroll or a hike.
Thank you to all who made this possible.
Understanding my clientele's situation, expectations, worries, concerns, goals, and outlook in receiving therapeutic massage service.
Identifying any areas to avoid and areas to focus on are important in delivering a wholesome experience.
To connect and communicate with my clientele before meeting in person is the best approach.
I arrive 30 minutes before appointment time to set the massage table and prepare the sacred space for the best clientele experience.
